    Trash Bash!
    03/23/2013

On Saturday March 23, 2013 the Early College Academy Science Club participated in Texas’ annual Trash Bash at Collins Park in Spring. Once a year thousands of volunteers gather along the Texas waterways to do their part in cleaning up the environment and participate in the largest statewide event to educate the public about the importance of our water resources. The mission of this organization is to promote environmental stewardship of our watershed through public education by utilizing hands-on educational tools and by developing partnerships between environmental, governmental, and private organizations. Our students received four hours of community service by picking up and bagging trash along Cypress Creek.
